Volunteering During COVID-19

Below are guidelines we are following to combat the spread of the Coronavirus in our facility.

  • Face Masks: We encourage you to wear a face mask if you have one. Even homemade masks are recommended by the CDC to help stop the spread.

  • Volunteer shifts are limited to no more than 20 volunteers at a time. Volunteers are then split into groups of 5 throughout our workspace.

  • Volunteers are being checked in by our front desk team instead of tablets.

  • Volunteers are no longer writing their names on volunteer stickers.

  • Volunteer orientations are no longer being held. This will help avoid large gatherings.

  • There are hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility.

  • We are asking anyone that is sick to please refrain from volunteering.

If you are unable to find a volunteer shift, please check back. Volunteer shifts are changing daily. You can also help these 3 ways: start a virtual food drive, make an online donation, and help spread the word on social media by following @CommunityLifelineestl

We Love Volunteers!

Community LifeLine relied on more than 300 volunteers last year whose hours totalled 26,000. It's pretty incredible to see so many caring individuals pass through our organization throughout the year. Our various volunteer opportunities offer fun and unique ways for individuals and groups to contribute their time, talents and resources to support our families and neighbors.

Please review the following info below before signing up for a volunteer shift.

Become a Virtual Volunteer

Fight hunger without even changing out of your pajamas! Start a Virtual Food Drive and help provide meals to your neighbors in need.

Become A Volunteer Captain

We are searching for Volunteer Captains to help our staff in the workspace who run our volunteer projects. If you are interested and want to learn more, click here.

Please Read Before Signing Up

* Each individual volunteer must register on their own. This allows us to keep accurate track of hours per volunteer.
